INFINITI’S NEW TWIN-TURBO V6 EARNS SPOT ON WARDS ’10 BEST ENGINES’ LIST

WardsAuto has released their latest “Best” list for the newest model year: “10 Best Engines for 2017.” Comprised of some of the most powerful and efficient powertrains on the market, the new list is a who’s-who of automotive power, and, to no one’s surprise, features INFINITI’s all-new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine.

This latest powerplant from the luxury automaker continues this innovative trend by adopting features like a new direct-injection gasoline fueling system, as well as low mechanical friction and lightweight aluminum construction that helps make the engine very responsive.

According to a press release, the new engine is “the cleanest and most fuel-efficient engine of its type that INFINITI has ever offered,” providing a nearly 7 percent increase in fuel economy when compared to its predecessor.
