PREVIEW: 2021 INFINITI Q50

The 2021 INFINITI Q50 is a fantastic merging of premium appointments and performance. The Q50 gets two engines, one rated at 300 horsepower and the other up to 400 horsepower. This makes the Q50 a speedy sedan. The 2021 Q50 has an ultra-luxurious interior that includes a refreshed infotainment system.

The 3.0t Pure is the base trim and has much to offer with conveniences that include keyless entry and ignition for a fast start. Add leather seating and power-adjustable front seats, two touchscreen displays with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. A six-speaker sound system is standard on the 3.0t Pure. Also, safety features, such as forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking, are standard. 

The 3.0t Luxe comes in with a few upgrades, with the ProAssist and the EssentialTwo as optional packages. The Edition 30, includes all standard features on the first two trims and adds custom styling touches inside and out. The 3.0t Sport is next with special sport front seats and a premium Bose sound system. Other upgrades include performance-oriented features, including larger brakes, adaptive dampers, and custom bumpers. The Red Sport 400 features a bold red on the exterior along with a red-themed interior. More safety options are also available in the ProActive package.

Two powerful engines are offered on the 2021 INFINITI Q50. A 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 is powering up to 300 HP, and 295 LB-FT torque. The same engine gets a power update to get a rated 400 HP, and 350 LB-FT for the beasty Red Sport 400. All-wheel drive is available on all trims. The paddle-shift controlled 7-speed automatic transmission is standard.
