WHAT INFINITI SEATS UP TO SEVEN PEOPLE?

Large families need three-row rides, but they are not the only ones. Often it is smaller families who need a big vehicle for frequent carpooling. If you need to seat seven people, INFINITI has two models that may be right for you.

The 2018 INFINITI QX60 has three rows and seven seats. The flagship QX80 has three rows and seven or eight seats. Families will find plenty of comfort in either style. Extensive noise insulation keeps out road noise. Hand-crafted premium materials make these models feel luxurious.

For the latest generation, QX60 architecture makes this SUV exceptionally hospitable. There are more interior space and better access, especially with the door openings. Second-row seats slide up to 5.5-inches, creating extra space for entry to the back row. Those sliding seats do more by providing more legroom if needed for the third row or by providing more cargo space. The third row reclines, allowing riders to change positions.

Updated and enhanced, QX80 models are bigger and more flexible too. The door sills have been widened to help passengers into the cabin. Shoppers can choose a three-seat bench instead of the center seats if they want to increase seating from seven to eight. By the way, the seats are treated so that they will wipe clean after spills.

Both models have ample power to move a big SUV with a small crowd aboard. Under the hood of the QX60, a V6 generates 295 horsepower. This engine allows the QX60 to offer good fuel economy for its class. The bigger QX80 has a V8 that kicks out 400 horsepower. With all-wheel drive, the QX80 has some off-roading capability that may surprise you. It is a good pick for families who want to tow. Both INFINITI three-row SUVs have been built with aerodynamics in mind. Careful construction has resulted in zero front and rear lift.

What makes both of these SUVs unique to luxury buyers, however, is the luxurious leathers that cover the seats. Turning first to the QX60, you’ll find a quilted seat base on the leather seats. The vibrant color palette includes Java, Graphite and a high-contrast Wheat. You can add exclusive maple accents and an hourglass quilting pattern. Contrast stitching adds design flair to the soft-touch upper instrument panel and door panels.

Looking at the QX80, you’ll find the INFINITI flagship has its contrasting colors and high-quality tailoring. Perforated and quilted leather wraps the seats, armrests and door panels with contrast double-stitching and leather piping provide more definition throughout the vehicle’s interior. A dark gray stitch offsets a rich Wheat semi-aniline leather. A medium gray includes contrast for Graphite leather. Black stitching and piping are paired with a Saddle Brown leather. Wood comes in rich Stratford Burl, Espresso Burl, or Charcoal Burl.

If you are looking for the latest dash technologies, you can be sure these two SUVs will provide the connectivity and touchscreen functions you need. The new QX80 has added bigger screens, more headphone jacks, and media connections for its rear entertainment center. Either model offers a menu of crash avoidance features to help reduce the chances of an accident.
