Do You Have An Issue With Your Cooling System?

Your cooling system's purpose is to maintain a regulated temperature inside your engine, no matter what kind of driving you're doing. Without your cooling system, temperatures would rise. This would result in some damage that could end up being permanent. We will take a look at your radiator, water pump, coolant levels, and much more.

Is Your Water Pump Working As It Should Be?

Your internal water pump works as part of your cooling system to regulate temperatures. The fan belt in your water pump can incur damage as the other belts in your automobile can. You can also experience damage like corrosion from the wear and tear that occurs from daily driving.

The Purpose of Your Radiator

As your engine runs and more heat is produced, coolant will absorb that heat. Your radiator will help release the pressure that accumulates over time as temperatures rise. We like to check for damage to your radiator in the way of connecting hoses, dysfunction with the internal fans, and low levels of coolant.

Your Cooling System's Thermostat

Your cooling system's thermostat will help regulate the amount of coolant utilized for your vehicle. Malfunction is common when the internal valve is broken, not allowing fluid to travel in or out. The heat will eventually build up and cause your engine to overheat.

The Role of Hoses and Belts, and How They Break

Belts and hoses within a vehicle see a lot of wear and tear, and they are made from materials prone to splitting or tearing. We can inspect all of these areas for you, and we can repair any damage that could be the cause of your overheating engine. We use only OEM parts for all of our services.

Contact INFINITI on Camelback if you would like to learn more about an overheating engine's various potential causes. You can also schedule an appointment with our service department if you believe that you have an issue with your vehicle resulting in your engine overheating.
