INFINITI's factory warranties cover many different vehicle components, including the engine, transmission, and interior parts such as the sound system and air conditioning unit. While most parts are covered for a specific period, you can also get extended warranties for extra coverage.
Emissions Control Warranties
One warranty that comes standard is the Emissions Control Warranty. This is a standard warranty for INFINITI vehicles sold throughout the United States that lasts for up to 48 months or 60,000 miles. Certain components are also covered for 80,000 or 8 years, whichever occurs first.
Powertrain Warranty
The Powertrain Warranty from INFINITI covers the repair and replacement costs for the powertrain system in your car. This warranty is valid for 72 months or a maximum of 70,000 miles. Coverage applies to the drivetrain, including the driveshaft and its components, along with the bearings, gaskets, engine, and transmission. The Powertrain Warranty also covers replacement and repair costs for the airbags in your car and electronic control sensors that regulate the airbags.
New Vehicle Limited Warranty
This warranty includes a comprehensive basic coverage package. It covers replacement and repair costs for the most significant parts on your INFINITI that are defective or faulty due to poor workmanship. Coverage for your vehicle will last up to 60,000 miles or 48 months.
Corrosion Warranty
The Corrosion Warranty provides financial coverage if you need to have the sheet metal panels replaced due to corrosion. The warranty lasts up to 84 months, independent of mileage, provided damage occurs to original components during normal use
Seat Belt Warranty
If a seat belt on your INFINITI fails to function properly during normal use while you own the car, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge through the Seat Belt Warranty. This coverage lasts for the first 10 years of ownership.
Tire Warranty
INFINITI vehicles come with tire warranties to cover tire repair and replacement costs. Terms vary by warranty and are provided by manufacturers like Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, and Continental.
MPP Plans
INFINITI on Camelback also offers additional protection with optional MPP plans. MPP plans, including GAP coverage, lease wear protection, and extended service contracts, can cover other expenses for repairing or replacing components. Plans are also available for older INFINITI vehicles.
